Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday popular mainly In Canada and the USA. It’s celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the U.S.A. Very popular dishes are roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. You can find the recipe of the pie and do it yourself. It’ll be on  ‘’ Royal Press” .

On the 3rd of December there was a Thanksgiving Day in our middle school. We invited mrs Patricia Mazur and mr Piotr Mazur from the USA to celebrate it together. Firstly, students presented a short history of Thanksgiving Day. They asked us a few interesting questions about that holiday. Then our class presented a "Turkey Dance". You should absolutely listen it up and dance, maybe! The girls were dancing an antique indian dance. It was fantastic. I'm sure everybody was feeling like a few hundred years ago. After that our class sang a song called "It's Thanksgiving". Girls from other classes sang "Jar of hearts" by Christina Perri and "Say something" by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. It was really emotional. After that, we were asking Patricia and Piotr questions. For exemple,what do they do in their free time. Then there was a sweet treat (sweets and traditional cookies with cranberry) and pumpkin soup. That meeting was really nice nd interesting. We found out a lot of things about Thanksgiving Day and America. We've had a great time.

Bonfire Night!!

Bonfire Night !

Bonfire Night is celebrated all over the UK.

Every year on 5th November, the anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot, Guy Fawkes is remembered

Why do we have Guys and Fireworks on Bonfire Night?

The Guy (effigy) is made out of old clothes stuffed with paper or straw. The Guy is a reminder of Guy Fawkes.

The fireworks are a reminder of the gunpowder Guy Fawkes hid in the cellar of Parliament.

Traditional Bonfire Night Food:

As well as burning effigy of Guy Fawkes, the bonfires are used to cook potatoes wrapped in foil and to heat up soup for the crowds that come to watch the fireworks.

Firework Displays:

In main town and cities, torch-lit processions are also popular on this night too. The procession leads to where the bonfire and firework displays are.

Boys` day

On the 30th of September boys in our class celebrated the Boys` Day. The girls prepared for them small gifts. These were cups with funny pictures. In addition, the girls organized interesting entertainment for boys. They asked a lot of girly questions and the boys answered. At the end there was a contest. The boys were doing plaits . The winner was Kamil. Congratulations!!!

Hello. After the holidays, once again we have all met at  school. We  have rested and we are ready to continue learning. This school year we have a new schoolmate - Maria Pinto from Italy. We like her already so much and we hope she will feel nicely  in our class.  We also hope that it will be a very  good and amazing year with our new friend! :)

British Day

This film is the result of the couple - month work of  one group of students from IF  . Natalia , Kacper, Wiktoria, Dawid, Kacper, Hubert, Kacper, Kamila, Olek, Sebastian , Kuba, Marysia, Monika- we want to present Great  Britain in a short but in an interesting way. The most popular cities, cultural facts, customs , people and finally daily life of the UK` s citizen. Hope you like it!!!!

Back to School!

Holydays!!

 Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!

We finished school year on 26th June with excellent results!!!!and we are looking forward to holidays- resting, sleeping, meeting with friends...doing nothing:) We have to have time to miss school and teachers and recharge our batteries for the next year!!!!

Energylandia

On day 3^rd on June our class wnet a trip to Zator. There is the largest amusement park in Poland – ENERGYLANDIA. Energylandia is exceptional place where everyone can find something for everyone. It is a powerful area in which huge area of 26 hectares is located more than 30 different kinds of modern facilities and attractions the extreme, by family, and ending with those for kids. All of them are presented in thematic, stylized decorations. Very important is the fact that in Energylandia buying one ticket, you can enjoy all the facilities and attractions will and without time. From the amusement park all came very tried and satisfied. I think that such a trip is a great idea for the trip. We hope that our teacher Ms. Joanna Skowron willing to go with us in an equally interesting places.

Mother`s day!!

There was very colourful……

Next and very awsome day at our school has just gone by!!!!!!

On 25^th March we had so called Very Colourful ,Artistic and Scientific Festival during which each class had different tasks. This year, the first classes were supposed to take part in the Battle on Voices 

( Bitwa na głosy) and in Fashion Show. As far as the first competition is concerned, each class had to perform any song of Polish arist or band. Our class sang and played a song by Marek Grechuta “ Dni, których nie znamy” ( Days we do not know). We were praised for not having a backing tack. Ola and Wanesa were playing the guitars, Patryk the drum. What is more, all members of our class sang!!!!We won the third place- thank you the dearest jury!!!!

The second competition was to show the typical clothes of a woman and a man from the Middle Ages. The couple could have a narrator to describe the outfits. Our representatives were Michał Parys as a Teutonic Knight and Wanesa Wołowiec as an innocent girl in a beautiful  white dress. Our narrator was Wiktoria Radłowska. And our class won…………yes …the third place, too.

We are warming up for the next year!!!

Hi,

Today we have celebrated Women`s Day in our class.Our boys gave us amazing presents.We played games too.In our school there was also a music program for us- women! It was an awesome day !

HAPPY GRANDMOTHER`S DAY

On the 19th of December we had the Class Christmas Eve . A lot of classes were organizing similar event that day but our celebrating was the best! We ate a lot of yummy cakes,gingerbread . There was beetroot soup to drink.We were singing carols- both English and Polish. We had to be very very good that year because we got some cute gifts from Santa . At the end we were dancing... Disco.Yes LoL Bye
